Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer - Product Operations Graduate Programme

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a manufacturing engineer and play a key role in the product operations graduate programme. As a manufacturing engineer, you will be responsible for providing engineering support to our product operations team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and procedures, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. You will also have experience in lean manufacturing principles, including 5S, WCM, Standard Work, and TPM.

In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and achieve world-class manufacturing standards. You will design, commission, and qualify semi-automated and automated fixturing, and support new product introductions across several product lines.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing technical support to product operations teams
  • Designing and implementing process improvements
  • Qualifying semi-automated and automated fixturing
  • Supporting new product introductions

Requirements:

  • B.Eng (Hons) / M.Eng in Mechanical/Industrial/Mechatronics/Biomedical Engineering or equivalent completing in 2025 or later
  • A minimum of a 2.1 (Hons) degree is required
  • Exposure to lean manufacturing principles including 5S, WCM, Standard Work, and TPM
  • Consistently identifies, initiates, and drives continuous improvement throughout the business
  • Strong sense of urgency and customer orientation
  • Experience in engineering, manufacturing operations automation
  • Computer-literate with experience of appropriate simulation and CAD packages
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Good analytical, data analysis, and problem-solving skills
  • Six sigma quality training would be an advantage
