Job Summary:

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Senior Actuary to join our Process and System Development team. In this role, you will play a critical part in designing, developing, and implementing an integrated suite of processes and systems that will support the Actuarial Function's responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a deep understanding of the Actuarial Function deliverables, existing processes, and associated challenges and limitations.
  • In conjunction with model development and data management leads, develop a clear vision for modern actuarial reporting processes that enable efficient production of deliverables.
  • Work with Actuarial teams, Senior Management, and subject matter experts to design and develop optimal processes and systems (solution) to produce deliverables.
  • Coordinate work plans to deliver the solution, providing accurate estimates for effort and timelines.
  • Ensure benefits of the solution are clearly specified, articulated, and realized through delivery roadmap.

What You Will Need To Succeed:

  • Significant experience operating in an actuarial environment in an insurance or reinsurance company.
  • Relentless passion for success and making an impact.
  • Demonstrated experience across some of the following areas: Data management and analysis, cash flow modeling, actuarial reporting, software development lifecycle, change management, process improvement initiatives, agile ways of working, long-term project management.
  • Extensive experience with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, VBA, R, SQL, Prophet, DCS, Power BI, and knowledge of other modern programming languages.
