Job Description

The Strategic Youth Engagement Manager will be responsible for ensuring that the voice and influence of young people are central to Jigsaw's services and governance structures. This role will involve leading the development of strategies and initiatives to engage with young people, building partnerships with stakeholders, and influencing senior leadership to ensure that youth voice is a priority.

This is a unique opportunity for a leader who can bridge the gap between policy and action, promoting participatory governance structures that ensure young people play a central role in shaping mental health services in Ireland.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of youth participation, community development, and human rights. They will also have excellent communication, project management, and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively across different teams and stakeholder groups.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies to engage with young people and promote their voice and influence within Jigsaw's services and governance structures.
  • Build partnerships with stakeholders, including young people, community groups, and other organizations.
  • Influence senior leadership to ensure that youth voice is a priority.

Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a leadership role, preferably in a youth-focused organization.
  • A strong understanding of youth participation, community development, and human rights.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and leadership skills.
