Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Test Engineer to join our team in Cork, Ireland. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on packaging testing and validation projects.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining accurate organization and secure storage of samples, adhering to all safety and compliance requirements;
- Conducting packaging tests and analyzing results against acceptance criteria;
- Supporting the planning and prioritization of the testing schedule;
- FOLLOWING customer protocols to ensure objectives were clearly defined and appropriate testing methods were applied;
- Implementing and monitoring quality control systems to support standardized testing processes and procedures;
- Project Management: managing project timelines, costs, and logistics;
- Supporting testing and test-related project activities in coordination with global teams;
- Demonstrated experience in resolving design and process related packaging issues on commercial products;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, regulated environment with strict deadlines;
- MATHEMATICAL skills including ratios, proportions, basic algebra;
- Teamwork: collaborating with others and working in a professional manner to support team actions;
- PC experience and working familiarity of common desktop applications including Excel and Word;
- Strategic Thinker for dynamic creative environment;
- Execute problem solving techniques related to design;
- Interest in packaging innovations and materials;
Required Skills and Qualifications
A degree in Packaging, Industrial, Mechanical engineering, or applicable technical field is required. 2+ years of experience in a highly regulated industry is desirable.
