Job Overview

The role of a Contract Administrator is pivotal in managing the financial and contractual aspects of HVAC and pipework installation projects. This includes overseeing all commercial activities, preparing tender and contract documents, conducting cost analysis, and ensuring project profitability.

This position requires a strong understanding of mechanical services, particularly pipework systems, as well as excellent knowledge of construction contracts and procurement processes. Additionally, proficiency in cost management software and Microsoft Office Suite is essential for success in this role.

As a key member of the project team, the successful candidate will be responsible for liaising with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Contract Administrator within the HVAC and/or mechanical installation sector
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical services, particularly pipework systems
  • Excellent understanding of construction contracts and procurement processes
  • Proficient in cost management software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Exceptional negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., BSc in Quantity Surveying, RICS accreditation)
