Security Solutions Analyst Internship

This is a 6-month internship opportunity to work as a full-time Security Solutions Analyst. During the placement, you will be part of a dynamic team and have the chance to contribute straight away.

The programme offers a broad and exciting experience in information security, where you will work on designing, developing, implementing, and using state-of-the-art technology cybersecurity solutions aimed at reducing risk.

You will have the opportunity to deliver innovative capabilities in a team environment and align with a specific group within our Information Security department.

Responsibilities
  • Provide analytical, strategic, and technical skills to design, develop, implement, and use state-of-the-art technology cybersecurity solutions aimed at reducing risk
  • Deliver innovative capabilities in a team environment and align with a specific group within our Information Security department
  • Respond to, research, measure, detect, and mitigate security attacks at network and application layers
  • Work on problems of moderate scope requiring analysis of situations or data
  • Global incident management and event management processes responsibility
  • Produce metrics to track remediation activities
  • Support Information Security activities including development of strategy and policy; vulnerability identification and management; monitoring, detecting, and responding to cybersecurity incidents
Eligibility Criteria
  • Bachelor's degree in progress with completion between September 2026 and July 2027; evidence of completion may be requested
  • Minimum 112 UCAS points (or equivalent) and on track for a minimum 2:1 degree
  • Placement programme built into the academic curriculum; available to join January–March 2026 for 6 months (full-time for the entire duration)
