Database Developer Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and proactive database developer to join our data team. The ideal candidate will have experience with cloud-based database services, ETL processes, and self-service BI tools. The role involves developing and optimizing complex SQL queries, designing scalable database schemas, and building interactive dashboards.

Main Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and optimize database solutions across various platforms
- Develop and maintain high-quality code using appropriate testing frameworks
- Collaborate with stakeholders to expose data to end users via well-structured datasets and visualizations
- Participate in peer code reviews and help define and enforce database development best practices

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficiency in SQL, Postgres, Redshift, and other cloud-based database services
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, star/snowflake schemas, and data pipelines
- Experience with ETL processes and tools like AWS Glue
- Familiarity with self-service BI tools such as QuickSight, Power BI, or Tableau
