Manufacturing Operations Manager

As a Production Supervisor, you will play a key role in overseeing the daily operations of our production facility. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all production processes are running efficiently and effectively, with a focus on quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Team Management: You will supervise and coordinate the activities of production staff, directly or via team leaders. This includes resource planning, assigning tasks to team members, holding them accountable for achievement, and ensuring training and guidance on processes and equipment is provided.
2. Production Oversight: You will proactively monitor production processes to ensure adherence to schedules and specifications. This involves implementing and enforcing quality control measures, identifying and troubleshooting operational issues to minimize downtime, and ensuring production targets are met within allocated time and budget.
3. Safety and Compliance: You will enforce workplace safety regulations and protocols, conduct safety spot checks, and ensure compliance with company policies. 4. Inventory and Equipment Management: You will manage the availability of raw materials, tools, and machinery, track inventory levels, collaborate with Supply Chain to avoid shortages, and coordinate maintenance and repair of equipment to prevent disruptions.
5. Reporting and Documentation: You will maintain and analyze records of production, including output, efficiency, and quality metrics, prepare reports for management on production progress, challenges, and action plans, and collaborate with other departments to optimize operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Proven experience in a supervisory/production control role
• Strong knowledge of production processes, equipment, and safety standards
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing issues
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Proficiency in data analysis and production tracking systems
