The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and carrying out inspections on Temporary Traffic Management, completing Temporary Safety Measures Inspection Reports, and managing and carrying out Road Safety Inspections.
Additionally, the candidate will ensure that all materials used and work performed are in accordance with specifications, provide technical and structural experience, and comply with strict safety regulations.
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chartered Engineer to manage and carry out high-quality civil engineering work, inspecting temporary traffic management measures, road safety inspections, and reporting results effectively.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of TII Publications, Traffic Signs Manual, Health and Safety Legislation, including Construction Regulations. A minimum Level 8 qualification in Civil Engineering is required, along with at least five years' experience in the field. The ability to work efficiently and stay organized is essential.
Key qualifications include:
- Minimum Level 8 Civil Engineering Degree
- At least 5 years' experience in civil engineering/roads/transportation projects
- Knowledge of TII Publications, Traffic Signs Manual, Health and Safety Legislation, including Construction Regulations
- Highly motivated and organised
- Competent in Microsoft Office
- Full driving license
