Job Title: Project Engineer

Role Overview:

The Project Engineer will oversee the planning, design, and execution of civil engineering projects. They will work closely with project managers to ensure daily operations are safely, compliantly, and profitably managed.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Scheduling engineering projects and monitoring project delivery.
  • Managing compliance with quality assurance policies, standards, and project specifications.
  • Lead the development of project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring alignment with client objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders; monitor project budgets and programmes.
  • Operations supervision and management, management of sub-contractors.
  • Assist in day-to-day management of key client contacts, completing project reports and keeping clients up to date as operations progress.
  • Ability to solve problems quickly in a fast-moving environment.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a civil engineering role.
  • Proficient in using design software (e.g., AutoCAD).
  • Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office tools, in particular Excel.
  • Full Driving Licence.
