We are seeking a Cloud Solutions Engineer to join our team. As a Technical Solutions Engineer, you will combine software development, networking, data analysis, and systems administration expertise with an aptitude for technical consulting, troubleshooting, and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:- Resolve and diagnose customer problems, design and implement new operations, productivity and investigation tools to increase efficiency for the engineering team.
- Act as a consultant and subject-matter-expert for stakeholders in the engineering and business organizations to resolve technical deployment issues and improve the product's outlook.
- Obtain and maintain an understanding of Google's product technology and software architectures, build in-product self-service solutions.
- Work with multiple product and engineering teams on understanding ways to improve the product and interact with our Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) teams to drive production excellence.
- Advocate for customers by representing their issues to Product Management and Software Engineering and develop innovative ways to resolve issues.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical field.
- 2 years of experience reading code (Python or C#).
- 2 years of experience with Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS).
- 2 years of experience triaging SaaS products, related technologies, and REST API's.
- 2 years of experience troubleshooting and advocating for customer needs, and triaging technical issues.
