Job Description

This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing health, safety and environmental policies and procedures across the company – manufacturing plants, construction sites and professional services offices.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Developing and maintaining health, safety and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures.
  2. Leading the HSE team and overseeing the overall health and safety of the organisation.
  3. Acting as the Responsible Person for all HSE matters and ensuring compliance with current legal and best practice requirements.
  4. Creating initiatives to reduce and prevent accidents across the company.
  5. Assessing risk and ensuring compliance with legal guidelines.
  6. Investigating incidents and providing recommendations for improvement.

The ideal candidate will have recent proven experience of working in a health and safety role at a similar level (5+ years) and bringing about culture change within an organisation.
