This is an exciting opportunity for a talented professional to join our organization in Waterford. You will maintain automation equipment for safe efficient and compliant production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain automate manufacturing equipment for safe efficient and compliant production.
- Support design installation and validation of automated production lines.
- Characterise and optimise processes using DFMEAs PFMEAs and DOEs.
- Investigate root causes of technical issues.
- Ramp up production lines to achieve mature targets.
- Develop implement and maintain production methods and controls to meet quality standards.
- Monitor additive manufacturing process troubleshoot problem processes and resolve quality issues.
- Drive continuous improvement projects.
- Manage project budgets and liaise with customers and contractors as required.
- Provide technical training and support company safety and quality programs.
Skill Requirements:
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Excellent organisation communication computer and presentation skills.
- Systematic troubleshooting skills.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Lean Six Sigma skills desirable.
- Innovative problem-solving skills.
- Good data analysis skills.
- Proficient in MS Office applications and MS Project.
- CAD experience advantageous.
Job Specifications:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or similar discipline.
- 3-6 years' experience in manufacturing (automated assembly and medical device manufacturing desirable).
- Travel may be necessary for equipment buy-offs and training at vendor/customer sites.
