Key Responsibilities:
  1. To develop sustainable design solutions for projects focused on Renewables/Energy, incorporating best practices in environmental impact assessments (EIA) and life cycle assessments (LCA).
  2. To advise on sustainable construction materials, low-carbon technologies, and resource efficiency, ensuring compliance with sustainability regulations and local planning requirements.
  3. To collaborate with architects, planners, contractors, and environmental specialists to deliver sustainable outcomes, including monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs).
  4. To conduct site visits to ensure that sustainable practices are being implemented during construction.
  5. To support the organization's net zero and climate resilience strategies through innovative engineering methods and research.
  6. To prepare technical reports, proposals, and presentations for stakeholders, leveraging relevant design software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, BIM tools).
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree (BEng/BSc) in Civil Engineering, Master's in Sustainability, Environmental Engineering, or related field is desirable.
  • Chartered Engineer status (or working towards) is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of sustainable design frameworks, renewable energy integration, and green infrastructure is required.
  • Proficiency in relevant design software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, BIM tools) is necessary.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of experience in civil engineering, with exposure to sustainability-focused projects.
  • Experience in green infrastructure, renewable energy integration, or low-carbon construction methods is highly desirable.
