Operations Director Role

A leadership opportunity has emerged for an experienced Operations Director to oversee and manage the daily operations of a busy manufacturing facility.

Job Description:
  • Manage and coordinate production activities to meet operational targets, ensuring timely completion of orders.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Plan and schedule production tasks to optimize resource allocation.
  • Maintain high standards of quality assurance across all production stages.
  • Lead and manage a cross-functional team including production, logistics, and warehouse staff.
  • Ensure proper staff deployment and provide training to meet operational and safety standards.
  • Enforce rigorous hygiene and housekeeping standards throughout the facility.
  • Report and escalate any quality or compliance non-conformities to senior management.
  • Deliver consistent product quality and presentation according to expectations.
  • Develop expertise in equipment operation and maintenance, collaborating with engineering teams to minimize downtime.
  • Participate in the evaluation, commissioning, and integration of new equipment, leading staff training during implementation.
