Lead Piping Engineer Opportunity
A challenging role has become available for a skilled piping engineer to lead projects in the life sciences industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing large teams of piping designers and ensuring that all projects are completed on time and within budget.

Job Description
The Piping Technical Lead is responsible for leading the design and implementation of complex process piping systems. This includes creating detailed designs, specifications and models of piping systems using 3D software such as Navisworks and Plant 3D/SP3D.

Responsibilities

  • Manage large teams of piping designers and engineers.
  • Develop and implement piping system designs that meet project requirements and specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective project execution.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to less experienced piping designers and engineers.
  • Ensure that all projects are completed on time and within budget.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in process and mechanical piping systems in the life sciences industry.
  • Strong understanding of technical principles, theories and concepts in the field.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in 3D software such as Navisworks and Plant 3D/SP3D.

Experience / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in process and mechanical piping systems, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills. A degree in engineering or a related field is preferred.
