
Festival Stage Manager

We are seeking an experienced Stage Manager to oversee the smooth operation of our festival.
- The successful candidate will have a strong background in stage management and experience touring productions.
- Festival events take place across multiple venues in Dublin and surrounding areas, showcasing a range of activities including site-specific outdoor and indoor performances, talks, exhibitions, and a one-day conference.
The Irish Arts and Human Rights Festival is an annual event that highlights the work of human rights defenders in Ireland and internationally.
The festival promotes equality, human rights, and diversity through the arts across counties in Ireland.
- The seventh iteration of the festival will feature a hybrid programme delivered over 10 days, with events taking place before and after the festival, both in-person and online.
- The festival showcases the work of Irish and international artists and speakers.
The Stage Manager will be responsible for:
- Ensuring the smooth operation of festival events, including setup, rehearsals, and performance.
- Coordinating with vendors, technicians, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality events.
- Maintaining effective communication with the production team, festival staff, and volunteers.
- Managing the logistical aspects of the festival, including transportation, accommodation, and equipment.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong background in stage management and experience touring productions.
- An ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- A passion for the arts and human rights.
