Senior Electrical Engineer Position

  • We are seeking a seasoned electrical engineer to contribute to the development of innovative products for use in minimally invasive therapeutic procedures.
  • The successful candidate will work closely with the team to optimize product design and safety, providing technical expertise to drive project success.
  • This role involves designing novel product solutions, developing engineering support and input for research and development projects, and implementing technologies to deliver optimum design solutions.
  • Key responsibilities include planning and tracking elements of product development, new product introductions, and technology transfers, ensuring adherence to project timelines.
  • The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of relevant products and processes, as well as experience in developing state-of-the-art engineering tools and techniques.
  • Additionally, they will be responsible for developing predictive engineering tools, techniques, and approaches to enhance the product development process.
  • Collaboration with internal team members to explore new technologies, assess their performance, cost, and reliability is also essential.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Degree level 8 in Engineering or a related discipline, with 5+ years of relevant experience. Additional relevant qualifications may be advantageous.
  • Proven experience in electrical medical device product development.
  • Ideal candidates will have experience designing RF systems, including PCB design and RF simulation tools (COMSOL).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Experience with statistical techniques (DOE, Six Sigma) and knowledge of regulatory standards and design control systems desirable but not essential.
  • Self-starting, self-motivated, and self-directed individuals who can work independently and manage their time effectively.
