Reinsurance Risk Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Reinsurance Risk Manager to support our team in managing risk, optimizing capital efficiency and contributing to dividend capacity. This role will work closely with existing teams of actuaries focusing on key areas such as reinsurance transaction development and negotiation, analysis and reporting on the EMEA Reinsurance portfolio, supporting administration particularly with respect to the specification of settlement models and ensuring compliance with Reinsurance Policy and Strategy.

Responsibilities
  • Develop analyses to assist in reinsurance decisioning
  • Create materials describing the impact of reinsurance actions for a broad EMEA management audience
  • Oversee the development of settlement models to be used in reinsurance administration
  • Manage internal and external relationships including negotiating timelines for deliverables
  • Develop models and frameworks
  • Coordinate execution of contract documents
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Completion or near completion of a recognized actuarial designation
  • Fluency in and creative use of advanced Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to challenge and influence others at all levels of the organisation
  • Desire to learn and collaborate
