Offshore Engineer Role

We are seeking a seasoned Offshore Engineer to join our team. As a key member, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of offshore transmission infrastructure.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Act as the technical authority for offshore grid connection projects, guaranteeing compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide engineering oversight during project development, design, construction, and commissioning phases, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standard.
  • Review and assess offshore cable system design, installation methodologies, and risk assessments, identifying potential issues before they become major problems.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of offshore substations, HVDC/HVAC transmission systems, and interconnectors, making recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Civil, or Offshore Engineering (or a related field), with a strong understanding of relevant regulations and standards.
  • Chartered Engineer (CEng) status preferred (or working towards it), demonstrating your commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in offshore wind, transmission, or subsea cable engineering, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
