Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team in providing high-quality care to children with complex developmental needs.

In this role, you will assess, plan, and deliver essential occupational therapy services to children, working collaboratively with occupational therapists, physiotherapists, psychologists, and other specialists to develop holistic, child-centered care plans.

The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical, interpersonal, and organisational skills, with a family-centered approach. A minimum of 3 years' post-graduate experience in a paediatric or disability setting is essential.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assessment and diagnosis of children's developmental needs
  • Development and implementation of individualised occupational therapy plans
  • Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Effective communication with families and carers to empower them as partners in their child's journey
  • Documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress reports

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Degree in Occupational Therapy and registration with CORU
  • Full driver's license with access to your own vehicle
  • Minimum 3 years' post-graduate experience in a paediatric or disability setting
  • Strong clinical, interpersonal, and organisational skills with a compassionate, family-centered approach
