Site Reliability Engineer Role

We are seeking a skilled Site Reliability Engineer to join our team. As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of our systems.

Job Description

The successful candidate will have experience in building, administering, and maintaining production environments, as well as troubleshooting technical issues. They will also work closely with other teams to improve the stability, performance, and scalability of our platform.

In this role, you will be expected to collaborate with application engineering teams to solve business needs using cloud services. You will also participate in on-call support rotations to provide 24/7 support.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience in Systems Administration, SRE, or DevOps capacity.
  • Experience administrating Linux and/or Windows based infrastructure in highly available environments.
  • Solid understanding and experience with AWS services and cloud operation concepts.
  • Deep understanding of Microservices architecture and deployments.
  • Web Server administration experience.
  • Automation skills using scripting languages such as Powershell and Python.
  • Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) experience using tools like Ansible and Terraform.
  • Experience with containerization tools and technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
  • Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, routing, VPN, load-balancing, SMTP.
  • Working Experience in supporting Patch Management using tools like Qualys.
  • Good understanding of DR Testing.
  • Working Knowledge of Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK.
  • Degree or equivalent in a computing or engineering discipline.
