AML Investigations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AML Investigations Specialist to join our team. As an expert in Anti-Money Laundering (AML) investigations, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training to our investigators.

About the Role

This is a critical position that requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our investigations meet both customer and regulator requirements.

  • Deliver comprehensive and interactive training sessions covering TMS procedures, investigation requirements, and risk-based decisions.
  • Maintain high standards in training delivery for consistent knowledge transfer.
  • Expand the use of Coinbase's training Sandbox to test and validate agents' proficiency against new procedures or alert scenarios.

You will also be responsible for working live cases in production to stay up-to-date with Coinbase's investigations requirements and continually develop your investigations skillset.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • 3+ years of TMS Investigations experience, with additional responsibilities, preferably training.
  • Ability to analyze complex and large amounts of data to inform effective case outcomes.
  • Proven track record of successfully improving investigations programs to meet both customer and regulator requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
