Naval Architect Opportunity

We are seeking a qualified Naval Architect to contribute to our maritime transport safety team in Ireland.

About the Role

This key position plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety of life at sea, maritime security, and preventing marine pollution. The selected candidate will be responsible for inspecting and approving drawings and design calculations related to subdivision, stability under various conditions, structural fire protection, structural design and strength, safety equipment, and more.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections on Irish and foreign vessels to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Perform port state control inspections of foreign vessels entering Irish ports, ensuring that all necessary protocols are followed.
