About this Project

We're looking for a technical writer with expertise in software documentation to join our team on an ad-hoc basis.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical writing, experience with DITA authoring tools, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality documentation for software products.

This project-based position offers flexibility in scheduling and workload, making it ideal for freelancers who value autonomy and variety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Familiarity with DITA authoring tools
  • Delivering high-quality documentation for software products
  • Experience working in documentation teams and regularly communicating status
  • Familiarity with style guides and templates
  • 3+ years as a technical writer
  • Experience of writing software documentation including in-app help, user guides, configuration guides, and administration guides

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience of IXIA CCMS
  • Experience of Jira and GitHub
  • Experience of collaborating with user experience designers
  • Experience of creating simple graphics
