Java Backend Software Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Java Backend Software Engineer to join our team at Transact Campus. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing high-quality, scalable backend APIs using Java EE servlets with Tomcat and JDBC.

You will collaborate with the Engineering Manager and Product Owner to understand and implement functionality for new features and integrations. Your expertise in analyzing problems and implementing solutions will be essential in trading off architectural constraints of functionality, usability, performance, reliability, and scalability.

You will have experience with Spring Boot development and migrating from Servlets to Spring Boot. Additionally, you will have a thorough understanding of SQL and writing efficient and optimized queries.

We require the ideal candidate to have 4+ years of backend Java development experience and excellent communication and fluency in written and spoken English. Experience with unit testing and integration testing is also required.
