Job Title: Compliance Expert

This role involves conducting robust internal audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will lead audits in designated centres, providing impartial reporting of findings in clear, concise reports.

The Compliance Expert will be responsible for vetting and approving action plans, as well as monitoring their completion. This includes tracking and trending analysis of audit findings to facilitate organisational learning.

Closely working with management, staff, and external bodies, the Compliance Expert will assess and improve the quality of care provided. Responsibilities also include creating and reviewing regulatory documentation, such as Annual Reports for all designated centres.

Requirements:
  • Level 7 or 8 qualification in Applied Social Studies
  • A minimum of 2 years' postgraduate experience working in a social care setting
  • Knowledge of New Directions Regulations and National Standards for persons with disabilities
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of HIQA
  • Full driving licence and willingness to travel to locations within the service area
