We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmaceutical Support Professional to join our team in Athlone.

Job Description:

The primary responsibility of this role is to provide exceptional patient care by receiving, recording, and assembling prescriptions. Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for advising patients on and serving over-the-counter medicines. This role requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, ensuring that any errors or safety issues are recorded and resolved promptly.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive, record, and assemble prescriptions
  • Provide guidance and support to patients regarding medication usage
  • Evaluate patient needs and develop strategies to improve their healthcare experience
Requirements:
  • Registration with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues alike
  • A commitment to delivering excellent customer service and ensuring patient satisfaction
