Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at Thompson Aero Seating Ltd. This role involves working within multi-disciplined engineering teams to deliver innovative design solutions for new concepts & customisation of existing products for our customers across the globe.

Responsibilities

  1. Produce 3D models of parts & assemblies.
  2. Produce 2D detail drawings of parts and 2D assembly drawing.
  3. Produce electrical harness routing and equipment layouts.
  4. Release of engineering drawings following company release procedures.

Requirements

  • Hold a 3rd-level qualification in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Demonstrate strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Have previous experience in a design and/or engineering role.
  • Possess strong IT skills, including MS Office tools.
