Refrigeration Technician - HVAC Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Technician to join our team. As a specialist in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and commissioning of various equipment including air handling units, chillers, fire dampers, kitchen extract systems, and associated controls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency
  • Identify and troubleshoot faults in refrigeration systems using technical schematics and engineering drawings
  • Collaborate with colleagues and management to meet client expectations and deliver high-quality results
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all statutory and legislative requirements, health and safety regulations, appliance standards, and industry best practices

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a HVAC service technician role
  • Strong knowledge of large commercial projects, including VSDs, motor starter controls, and BMS systems
  • Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and manage assignments without supervision
  • Professional certifications in HVAC or refrigeration highly desirable
