Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Warehouse Operative.

This is a fixed-term 12-month contract role that will provide you with the opportunity to gain valuable experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

As a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for handling a variety of shifts over a 24/7 timeframe. You will maintain quality customer service by following organisational standards and project a professional, courteous and friendly image to the customer.

You will respond to queries in a timely and effective manner, contribute to team effort by accomplishing related tasks, and provide customer feedback to Line Management.

Key responsibilities include preparing cargo shipments for onward flights across the world, receiving inbound cargo from global origins, and ensuring all cargo preparation tasks are handled in a timely and accurate manner.

Additionally, you will complete Health and Safety, Security and operational training as required and adhere to Health and Safety, Security and operational practices and procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require a full clean EU Driving Licence. You should also be comfortable working with IT Applications with basic keyboard skills and possess strong communication skills both written and verbal.

Other essential qualifications include a high level of energy and enthusiasm combined with the ability to learn new skills quickly. You must also have a proven ability to deliver excellent customer service with a strong attention to detail and work on your own initiative while contributing effectively as part of a team.

Fluent English language skills are also a must, both written and spoken. Furthermore, you must be eligible to live and work in the EU and provide two verifiable references.

Finally, you will need to be able to pass a strict airport security vetting procedure which includes a 5-year background check or be in possession of a current airside pass for Dublin Airport.
