Social Care Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Care Worker.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing person-centred support to individuals with intellectual disability and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Your primary objective will be to ensure the well-being and quality of life for our service users.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide daily living support, including personal care and intimate care.
  • Assist with exercises and outdoor activities to promote physical and mental well-being.
  • Develop and implement individual programmes of meaningful activities.
  • Liaise with service users, their networks, and other professionals to ensure consistent planning.
  • Work in partnership with colleagues and management to establish and maintain standards of performance.
Requirements:
  • QQI Level 5 Major Award in Healthcare or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience working with individuals with intellectual disability/ASD is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to develop positive relationships.
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in delivering low-arousal approaches.
