Senior Engineering Role

This is a leadership position where you will have full ownership of the engineering function. As a senior engineer, you will set the strategic direction for technology and ensure world-class delivery.

You will work closely with the CTO and leadership team to guide and scale a talented group of developers. Your role will blend hands-on strategic influence with the opportunity to drive engineering excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take full ownership of the end-to-end development strategy, roadmap, and execution.
  • Lead, inspire, and scale a high-calibre engineering team focused on mission-critical investment products.
  • Shape and implement modern engineering practices (Agile, CI/CD, DevOps, cloud-native).
  • Partner with senior stakeholders and C-suite executives to align technology with business strategy.
  • Make key strategic decisions that drive the firm's profitability, efficiency, and innovation.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years' experience in software engineering leadership within large-scale, high-performing environments (financial services experience highly valued).
  • Proven success delivering enterprise-grade cloud native, high-availability applications.
  • Strong experience scaling engineering organisations and embedding best-in-class practices.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with a track record of influencing at senior executive level.
