Job Description

The successful candidate will assist in the implementation of a Meaningful Activity Programme within the home, ensuring all residents can participate in life-enhancing activities as part of their daily life in residential care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and coordinate a range of activities to cater to diverse resident needs and interests.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver person-centered care and services.
  • Maintain accurate records of activity participation and resident feedback.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A qualification in Social Care, Health Care studies, or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of experience working in Care of the Older Person within a residential care home setting.
  • Demonstrable communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with colleagues and residents.
Desirable Skills

The following skills are highly desirable for this position:

  • Certification in SONAS is advantageous.
  • Skills in cooking, gardening, knitting, music, arts, and crafts can be beneficial in delivering engaging activities.
