We are seeking an accomplished Data Analyst to spearhead our data-driven approach in a Big Data analytics environment. As a key player in the Enterprise Architecture Team, you will leverage your expertise in crafting robust Big Data analytics applications and champion automation to streamline processes.

About the Role:

This is a unique opportunity for a skilled professional to contribute to the development of sophisticated data analysis and modeling tasks. You will work closely with members of the Data Science and Privacy Risk teams to strengthen and document data privacy checks, ensuring robust compliance measures are in place.

Responsibilities:
  • Translate customer business objectives into actionable data analytics code, fostering a culture of excellence and reliability.
  • Collaborate on designing and building Spark applications and data pipelines, along with monitoring and optimizing Spark job performance for enhanced efficiency.
  • Develop comprehensive data management strategies, software testing within a Big Data context, software maintenance, and information security.
  • Implement effective solutions to debug complex data issues within extensive datasets containing billions of records.
Requirements:
  • A third-level degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or Data Analytics, demonstrating a strong foundation in relevant knowledge areas.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud services such as Azure Databricks, IBM Public Cloud, Google Cloud, and AWS, showcasing ability to leverage cloud infrastructure for advanced data analytics.
  • Working knowledge of SQL, facilitating effective data manipulation and analysis tasks.
  • Understanding of DevOps tools and the Git workflow, contributing to collaborative and efficient development processes.
  • Direct experience with the entire data project lifecycle, from requirements gathering through to design, implementation, evaluation, and presentation of results.
