Job Title: Senior TechnicianWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technician to join our production operations in Ennis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the maintenance and continuous improvement of automated and high-speed production and processing equipment.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine preventive maintenance on all equipment and maintain documentation records.
- Responsible for quality mechanical and electronic repairs and provision of electro-mechanical support to all Microchip production equipment.
- Take responsibility for product changeovers on different types of semiconductor automatic test, handling and branding equipment to ensure minimum downtime.
- Ensure critical spares are maintained where necessary.
- Proactively identify and remedy equipment when necessary to ensure appropriate yields and throughputs are achieved.
- Collaborate and problem solve, troubleshoot with production and engineering to prevent issues.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as an equipment/machine electro-mechanical maintenance technician in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- At least a Certificate or Diploma in an electro mechanical related field.
- Proven work experience demonstrating the ability to read electrical schematics/mechanical drawings, work from blueprints, drawings and/or rough sketches.
- Flexible work attitude.
- Excellent Communications Skills.
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft product suite is desirable.
- Experience working with CE marking equipment desirable.
Shift Details:
- Swing shift: Week of days followed by a week of evenings.
- Day shift hours: Monday – Thursday 8am -4.30pm. Friday 8am – 3.30pm.
- Evening shift hours: Monday – Thursday 4pm -12am. Friday 3pm – 10pm.
