Job Title: Specialist Pediatric Occupational Therapist
We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team in Dublin North City & County. As part of this role, you will work closely with families and carers to provide specialist services to children and young people with complex disabilities.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and treating individuals with complex needs, delivering high-quality interventions, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments to inform treatment plans
- Developing and implementing effective therapy programs, including goal setting and objective development
- Providing expert advice and education to families and carers
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal outcomes
To succeed in this role, you must have a BSc (Hons) in Occupational Therapy or equivalent, CORU registration, and minimum 3 years post-qualification experience in pediatric settings. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with others.
Requirements:
- BSc (Hons) in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification
- CORU registration or eligibility to register with CORU
- Minimum 3 years' experience working with children and young people with complex disabilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
