- Taking charge of the facility in the absence of the Director of Nursing.
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety.
- Collaborating with the DON to develop and implement clinical management strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in regular staff coaching and appraisals.
- Contribute to grievance and disciplinary activities in consultation with HR.
- Coordinate, roster, and manage employees in collaboration with the senior staff member.
Requirements:
- Minimum three years' experience in nursing the elderly within the last six years.
- Seven years of post-registration experience.
- Thorough understanding of regulatory standards and inspection activities related to residential care facilities.
- Third-level management qualification.
