Key responsibilities include:
- Assessing loan applications, financial statements, and credit reports to determine borrower risk.
- Analysing income, debt, and financial data to evaluate creditworthiness.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and company policies.
- Identifying potential risks associated with lending to individuals or businesses.
- Collaborating with loan officers and clients to verify financial information.
- Recommending loan approvals, modifications, or rejections based on risk assessment.
- Maintaining accurate records and preparing credit reports for decision-making purposes.
Requirements for the position include:
- 2+ years' experience in a similar role, preferably in administration, accounts, or banking.
- Qualification in finance, accounting, business, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Excel and other software.
