Job Title: Construction Commercial Manager

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to take on a key leadership role in the commercial function of a large-scale construction project.

We are seeking a highly skilled and ambitious individual with a proven track record of managing budgets, forecasts, and cost plans to ensure financial targets are met.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead the commercial function across multiple large-scale projects
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and cost plans to drive business success
  • Strategically lead procurement activities, negotiate contracts, and manage subcontractors
  • Provide insightful reporting to senior stakeholders and support strategic decision-making
  • IDentify risks and opportunities, and implement effective mitigation strategies
  • Maintain compliance with industry standards, policies, and contracts

Requirements:

  • Professional qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related field
  • 8-10+ years' experience in commercial roles within the construction industry
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing complex projects and leading high-performing teams
  • Strong knowledge of contract forms (RIAI, FIDIC, NEC, etc.) and regulatory requirements
  • Exceptional negotiation, leadership, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in cost management tools and Microsoft Office
