We are seeking an experienced Cost Management Lead to join our team and lead the development of our cost management systems and processes.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in cost management and experience in the residential sector in a construction or operations related capacity.
They will work closely with the Asset Management Team to ensure the effective co-ordination of cost and value exercises and the establishment of life cycle costing analyses and databases.
Additionally, they will provide life cycle cost advice to project delivery teams, conduct research into innovative materials and products, and assist with financial management of projects.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement cost management systems and processes.
- Collaborate with the LDA Asset Management Team to develop and maintain life cycle costing analyses and databases.
- Conduct life cycle cost analysis and provide recommendations for material and product selection.
- Work with Asset Managers, Building Technical Service, Development Managers and Construction Managers to understand specifications and building systems.
- Develop and implement budgeting and forecasting processes.
