Responsibilities

The Compliance and Environmental Strategy Manager will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of pollution control, waste management, recycling, environmental health, conservation, and renewable energy initiatives. This includes leading sustainability reporting and improvement initiatives focused on recycling and waste reduction.

A key aspect of this role is to provide input and support for projects involving the installation of new environmental equipment and technology. Attending audits and site inspections for EPA licensing, ISO 14001, ISO 50001, and EWS compliance is also a requirement.

The role requires excellent leadership, interpersonal, and verbal/written communication skills. The successful candidate must have the ability to work independently, demonstrate innovation, and manage multiple tasks while prioritizing effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is also essential.

Requirements

A qualification in a relevant subject related to Environment and Sustainability Management is required. Strong knowledge of environmental legislation and compliance is also essential.
