The position of Mechanical Supervisor is currently available at Oradeo recruitment, a leading provider of project management services. As a Mechanical Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the mechanical aspects of large-scale industrial projects.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Management of site safety in conjunction with the company safety advisor
  • Setup, management, and close-out of the safety file as part of the management team
  • Management of site QA in conjunction with the mechanical package manager
  • Familiarity with and management of project schedules
  • Assistance with cost management associated with the mechanical team, subcontractors, material deliveries, and plant/equipment
  • Management of day-to-day site operations
  • Management of sub-contractor activities
  • Close-out of all project items
  • Implementation of a weekly look-ahead plan to ensure coordination with other trades

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a mechanical supervisor/foreman on large industrial projects
  • Ideal candidate will possess 3-5+ years of experience in a supervisory capacity working for a recognized M&E contractor within the Irish, UK, and/or European market
  • Ideal candidate will have experience in the pharmaceutical, biogen, industrial, semiconductor, clean room, labs, hospitals, data centers, etc., sectors
  • Ideal candidate will come from a trades background
  • Proven experience in communicating with subcontractors, consultants, and other team members
  • Ability to interpret schematics and mechanical drawings
