Job Title: Urgent Search Hotel Duty Manager

At our hotel, we are currently recruiting for a professional Duty manager to join our management team. The successful candidate will report directly to the General Manager and be an integral part of the hotel's operations.

Job Description:
The Castle Oaks House Hotel and Estate is a stunning Georgian House built in the late eighteenth century. Located in the picturesque village of Castleconnell, just 5 minutes from the M7 motorway, our hotel is set in 26 acres of beautiful mature gardens & woodlands that lead down to the banks of the River Shannon. The hotel boasts a combination of 20 Bedrooms in the Georgian House, 20 Courtyard Suites and a newly renovated leisure centre.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. To oversee the operation of the hotel while on duty and ensure that a consistently high standard of service, product and customer care is delivered at all times.
  2. To anticipate guest needs in order to enhance guest satisfaction.
  3. To assist with the management of the hotel's daily operations, ensuring delivery of exceptional guest service from each department.
  4. To ensure prompt resolution of customer complaints.
  5. To make sound decisions in a fast-paced and busy environment, sometimes in the absence of the General Manager.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A proven track record of management experience in a hotel environment.
  • A strong operational background, with a particular emphasis on F&B operations.
  • Standards driven and detail oriented, with the desire to progress within the hospitality industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
