Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Financial Accounting Manager to lead our global audit team, responsible for managing the overall group consolidated audit and local statutory audits. This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic organization and contribute to our financial success.

Our client is a leading company in the Financial Services sector, known for its commitment to excellence and innovation. As a trusted partner, we work closely with their finance team to provide expert guidance and support.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the global audit team, overseeing the consolidated audit process and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to advise on accounting implications of non-routine finance transactions, such as mergers and acquisitions, group restructurings, and refinancing.
  • Provide technical accounting expertise, researching complex issues and concluding on correct accounting treatments.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure effective financial reporting and control.
  • Work closely with the business to advise on finance matters, including implementing new accounting standards and systems.
Requirements
  • Big 4 or Top 20 Practice experience at Manager or Senior Manager level.
  • Strong technical accounting skills, with the ability to research and resolve complex issues.
  • Excellent project management skills, with experience managing multiple workstreams and deadlines.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and a team player, comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, able to communicate complex accounting matters to non-accountants.
