Expert Financial Lawyer

This role offers a unique opportunity to work with the European Union's bank, supporting lending operations and legal documentation for financing projects.
- Duties and Responsibilities:
- Draft and negotiate key legal documents, including loans and guarantees, for projects in Southern Central Europe.
- Provide expert legal advice on all matters related to EIB lending operations, from structuring transactions to completion of related legal formalities.
- Manage client relationships and negotiations with external legal counsel.
- Administer related administrative tasks with legal implications.
- Liaise with external counsel as needed.
- Support and share knowledge with colleagues on operations.
- Stay up-to-date with relevant legislation and regulations, contributing to research and studies on matters arising in connection with EIB operations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships within the organization, its clients, and external partners.
- Requirements:
- Proven expertise in financial law, particularly in transactional and advisory roles.
- Strong understanding of European Union legislation and regulations.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in an international environment.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced setting.
