Job Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead and scale a high-performing security engineering team in Cork, Ireland. In this role, you will drive strategic security initiatives across cloud security, application security, network security, and AI security.

Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Build and manage a high-performing security team, focusing on talent acquisition, development, and retention. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
  • Cloud Security Engineering: Design and implement secure solutions for cloud-native environments, including AWS, GCP, and Azure. Enhance cloud security posture through identity management, encryption, and access controls.
  • Application Security: Establish secure software development practices and work with engineering teams to implement them. Lead initiatives such as threat modeling, secure code reviews, and vulnerability management.
  • Network Security: Oversee security architecture for network infrastructure, ensuring resilience against cyber threats. Implement zero-trust security principles and network segmentation strategies.
  • AI Security: Develop security strategies to protect AI/ML models and ensure data integrity. Address adversarial AI risks and emerging threats in AI-driven environments.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in security engineering, including leadership roles.
  • Expertise in cloud security (AWS, GCP, Azure) and DevSecOps practices.
  • Deep knowledge of application security, network security, and secure software development.
  • Experience in securing AI/ML applications is highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to build and lead high-performing security teams.
  • Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GIAC (GCIH, GCFA, GCED), or equivalent are highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2, GDPR, etc.).
