Laboratory Systems Specialist

Job Overview:
The primary responsibility of a Laboratory Systems Specialist is to ensure the accurate and efficient operation of laboratory equipment in a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement calibration, qualification, and maintenance schedules for laboratory systems, adhering to relevant regulations and guidelines.
- Review and maintain quality control documentation for calibration and maintenance activities.
- Conduct site-specific validation of new laboratory equipment, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Participate in technical project teams, providing expertise on instrument validation procedures and regulations.
- Collaborate with vendors and contractors to schedule and coordinate equipment repairs and maintenance.
- Support data integrity assessments and contribute to the development of business solutions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a Science related field is required.
- Minimum of 3 years of laboratory experience in a regulated environment, including exposure to analytical instrument validation and data integrity assessments.
- Detailed knowledge of methodology, instrumentation, and analytical techniques used for biopharmaceutical testing.
- Understanding of current regulatory requirements for laboratory equipment validation and electronic record integrity.
