Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Stores Person / Manual Labourer to join our Mechanical Department at Tritech Engineering. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our inventory and ensuring a smooth flow of goods in and out of our Site stores.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Receive and store incoming goods in a safe and organized manner.
  • Issue equipment and materials to sub-contractors and log their usage.
  • Monitor stock levels and update construction managers/supervisors accordingly.
  • Ensure storage areas are secure, clean, and tidy.
  • Transport goods to agreed locations on site as directed.
  • Coordinate with other departments to fulfill requests for materials and supplies.
  • Place orders for replenishment as required.
  • Manage direct plant on site and keep records.
  • Return empty cable drums in a timely manner.
  • Assist the mechanical trade team with manual labour tasks.
  • Complete housekeeping duties as directed.
  • Follow health and safety guidelines and report any incidents or hazards.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or stores environment preferred.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Manual Handling and Safe Pass a requirement.
