Construction Site Leaders

We are currently seeking highly skilled individuals to join our team as Resident Engineers and Senior Resident Engineers. The successful candidates will be responsible for overseeing construction activities, maintaining project records, managing communication and coordination with the project team, acting as the point of contact for the employer's representative, and addressing contractual and compliance issues on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Oversees construction activities on-site and maintains detailed project records.
- Communication and Coordination: Manages communication and coordination with the Project Team.
- Employer Liaison: Acts as the point of contact for the Employer's Representative.
- Issue Resolution: Manages and coordinates interface issues between contracts.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engages with stakeholders throughout project delivery.
- Contractor Performance Evaluation: Reviews and reports on Contractor claims and payment applications.
- KPI Monitoring: Evaluates Contractor performance against KPIs and contract requirements.
- Method Statement Review: Reviews and provides feedback on Method Statements and Risk Assessments.
- Design Compliance: Assesses design submissions to ensure compliance with project specifications.
Candidate Requirements:
- Qualifications: Level 8 Degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering.
- Resident Engineer Experience: Minimum of 4 years' relevant site supervision experience in civil engineering.
- Senior Resident Engineer Experience: Minimum of 7 years' experience, including significant on-site supervision, project management, and contract administration.
- Infrastructure Projects Experience: Proven track record on major infrastructure projects such as water/wastewater treatment facilities, pipelines, pumping stations or large-scale civil works.
- Health and Safety Knowledge: Strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation and regulatory compliance.
- Documentation Skills: Ability to produce accurate and detailed reports and maintain clear documentation.
- Quality Assurance Systems: Familiarity with Quality Assurance Systems and construction contracts, experience in FIDIC and Public Works forms of contract would be advantageous.
- IT Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and general IT tools for reporting and documentation.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication, organization, and coordination skills.
- Driving License: Possession of a full clean driving licence.
